1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Verdica Aviation (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.Verdica Aviation is operated by Verdica, Inc.
2. Description of Service
Verdica Aviation provides trust scores for PACA-licensed entities based entirely on publicly available government data. Scores are derived from FAA repair station registry and enforcement records, Federal Register publications, and USDA AMS disciplinary notices. The Service includes free basic lookups and paid subscription tiers with additional features.
3. Informational Purpose Only
Verdica Scores are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice, financial advice, credit ratings, or recommendations. Scores should not be the sole basis for any business decision. Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering into commercial relationships.
4. Accounts and Subscriptions
Some features require a registered account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe and are subject to the pricing terms displayed at the time of purchase. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal; access continues through the end of the current billing period.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) scrape, crawl, or programmatically access the Service without an API subscription; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer scoring algorithms; (c) use the Service to harass, defame, or discriminate against any entity; (d) resell or redistribute Verdica data without written permission; (e) interfere with the operation or security of the Service.
6. Data Accuracy
We make reasonable efforts to ensure scores reflect current public records. However, government records may contain errors or lag behind real-world changes. We are not liable for inaccuracies in source data. If you believe a score is incorrect, you may submit a dispute per our dispute resolution process.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verdica, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Intellectual Property
The Verdica name, logo, scoring methodology, and all original content on the Service are the property of Verdica, Inc. Public government data used in scoring remains in the public domain.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
